Sing what you say.
Feb 4th, 2008 by Kristi
We watched “The Karate Kid” last night. I spied it in the five dolla bin at Walmarts and couldn’t resist. I would have bought “The Tae Kwon Do Kid” or “The Goofy Eight Year Old Who’s Way Too Into Star Wars” but they were all out. So we watched “The Karate Kid,” which was so awesome that there aren’t words to express how awesome that it was, other than awesomdacular or perhaps awesomola.
You’re the best!
Around!
Nothing’s gonna ever keep you down
You’re the Best!
Around!
Nothing’s gonna ever keep you down
You’re the Best!
Around!
Nothing’s gonna ever keep you dow-ow-ow-ho-how-ho-own
INSPIRING GUITAR SOLO
I literally just cut and paste those lyrics to this post. In other words, ‘INSPIRING GUITAR SOLO’ ALL CAPS was actually written into the lyrics. Which is absolutely awesomdiculous. I was so INSPIRED by the INSPIRING GUITAR SOLO that I spent the rest of the evening singing everything to the tune of You’re the Best! Here’s some sample lyrics:
You’re the best!
In the world!
You are totally suuu-per.
INSPIRING LA LA LAS
Time for bed!
Right now!
Hurry up and brush your tee-eeth!
INSPIRING HUMMING
Sweep the leg!
Right now!
Mr. Miyagi does not aprooo-oooove!
INSPIRING CLAPS
I’m taking a shower!
Right now!
Oh wait, I needtograbmy paaaa-jaaaa-maaas!
INSPIRING WINKS
I’m gonna sing!
Like this!
All niiiggghtt loo-ong!
INSPIRING DUCKING OF BOTTLE CAPS THROWN BY MY HUSBAND
I’m still singing!
All the time!
This will never get oooold!
INSPIRING GIGGLING AT HUSBAND’S BLATANT REFUSAL TO ACKNOWLEDGE ME
So…uh…yeah…what was I talking about?

In my youth I used to know if Karate kid had been shown on TV the night before as as soon as I walked into school everyone started calling me Daniel-san. it became a little tiring after a while.
nothing pumps me up more than that song! hahahahaha! It was just amazing to me how big Elisabeth Shue was in comparison to Ralph Macchio. I will never forget the end when she “hugged” him after the big win. It looked like a polar bear attack.
Oh Elaine, I love you.
Mostly, as I was watching that video, I was wondering how many foot fungi Daniel was picking up walking around barefoot at that tournament all day. Gross.
But your singing was food for thought too….
