Best day ever…
May 11th, 2008 by Kristi

All is well. The lovely Kate is up and apparently high as a kite, but up. It was pneumonia, but hardcore, textbook material, not-sure-if-we’ll-make-it pneumonia. But she did.
Now I shall back into my eccentric Howard Hughesesque retirement. Gleefully.

i am so relieved for everyone. kids are resilient…you gotta give them that. give yourself a hug for me ok? oh wait…if you can hold out till friday i’ll give you one myself!!!
What a beautiful child. I’m so glad to hear she is on the way to recovery!
Oh, thank GOD.
What good news.
Whew, what great news. Thank God.
Mazel Tov. She’s a cutie, playing with her reflection.
And about the previous post, it’s okay to write about frivolous stuff and about serious stuff on the same blog, especially if that blog reflects your true self. We’re all happy one moment, sad and worry and guilty about ever feeling happy the next moment. Then we’re happy again. No? What do I know… I’ve had a headache for five months and last night a blood vessel broke or tore or whatever in my eye. It’s all good. At least I got to see the final Beauty and the Geek. I hope everyone feels better.
Sorry I haven’t stopped by in a while and honestly I don’t know what’s going on, but I’m glad that everything seems to be on the up and up now. So sorry to hear that you’ll be taking a blogging break but make sure to yell really loud when you’re done and remind us to come back for a read!
She’s so beautiful! I’m so glad it’s good news!
Enjoy your break. We all need them sometimes. Just don’t forget to come back at some point.
Girl, you are having a rough time lately… Hoping for your friend’s baby… Just give her love. What else can you give? Glad the pneumonia is over for yours. Oy…
Take a break. I’m on a mini-one myself. The season is part of it, but our brains need it, too.
Beautiful little girl! Glad she’s healthy.
How sweet it is…..
Hey, girl, from a transplanted Louisianian who is now in Southern Idaho.
Your little girl is adorable. Glad she is better.
We too had a scare with our little girl in March…pneumonia that turned into a pleural effusion…one week in ICU and major surgery…fun, fun. But Alison is better now. Thank God we live in the days we do where medical care is easy to obtain.
That is a sensational picture, Ms. Idaho. Nicely done.
