I’m in Texas myself, and after seeing your…well I can’t remember the name of it….something or ‘nother blog on comedians, I have to say that I disagree. Anything….and I mean ANYTHING from Hee Haw is funny….that means everything from the cartoon donkey at the beginning to the cartoon donkey at the end. SAAAAAAALUUUUUUTTTTEEEE!!!!

Oh and I picked this site up off of Crystal’s site, so it’s her fault. Blame her. Not me.

Nice t’ meet ya by the way.

*waving wildly* WOOHOO! Native Texan in Illinois here! Moved here a little less than two years ago, love it (that four season thing you mentioned is contagious, even though one of them IS winter!).
Maybe we should start a displaced Texans club, LOL!

Also a Native Texan now living in Wisconsin for 15 years.
Winters are a bitch, but like you said, summers are really nice.
Fall is the one that really kicks ass though. I never new it existed till I moved here. But then, I thought ice fishing was something only eskimos did in the artic.
Nice site, wicked sense of humor.
Dig your Weltanschauung thing as well, we really need some libertarians in power.

How’s spring treating you up north? I’m enjoying your blog - might just have to RSS you. ;)

Have a great day, Kristi.

Northern Idaho…how northern? I’ve never ventured much past Stanley, but the terrain there was pretty rugged. Must be beautiful and difficult, not even counting home-schooling three kids. Good going, Kristi. More Power to you.

Hi Kristi, Love your blog! I’m in Idaho too…but South near Boise. Never been up to North Idaho. I bet its gorgeous! We homeschool 2, I have 4 boys 9, 6, 3 and 1. Its an adventure, helps to have a sense of humor. Looks like you’ve got that part down to a science. Love your blog! ~April

I used to live in Idaho. I was born in Saint Maries and was raised on the Rathdrum Prairie. This was many years ago when the place lived and breathed natural resource industries. I found the communities to be intolerable. They were racist and small minded, and the children they raised were predominantly tough and abusive. I was never so glad as to have moved away.
